Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns about your kitten, their well-being is of our utmost concern. (For this document MoonKitten Ragdolls is referred to as “Breeder”. XXXXXXXX is referred to as “Buyer”)

RETURN POLICY

• If the kitten/cat is returned to the cattery within 30 days after the date of purchase, the
  Breeder will refund $250 only. If at any time after the first 30 days the Buyer can no
  longer take care of the kitten/cat, the Breeder agrees to accept the kitten/cat back
  without an obligation to refund the purchase price.
  If the kitten/cat is found to be a poor fit for the buyers household the breeder will replace
  the kitten with another equivalent kitten at no extra cost at the breeders discretion. The
  breeder will not cover transport fees or money spent on the kitten whilst not at the
  breeders home.
• Buyer must provide adequate time and effort to acclimate cat in new environment
  before return. It takes time and effort to introduce animals to each other. Breeder will
  provide necessary support during this process and make an educated judgement and
  decision and before accepting an animal for return.
  CONDITIONS OF SALE
  ●The kitten/cat will be spayed/neutered before reaching breeding age. (Maximum six
  months). If the kitten is not spayed or neutered a breeding fee will be charged equal
  to twice the price of the kitten. If a cat sold as a pet without TICA breeding rights is
  used for breeding without the written permission of MoonKitten Ragdolls, the offspring
  of the animal are the property of Moonkitten Ragdolls and any money must be
  surrendered to Moonkitten Ragdolls within 30 days or animals produced by said
  breeding must be surrendered to Moonkitten Ragdolls within 90 days of birth.
  ●TICA registration papers will be provided upon receipt of spay/neuter documentation
  to buyer. An administrative fee of $50 will be charged for paperwork at the time of
  registration.
  ● The kitten/cat will not be mistreated, and will have fresh food, water and a clean litter
  box at all times. The kitten/cat will receive frequent kind human attention. The kitten/cat
  will be provided with scratching post or/and cardboard scratchboard, as well as with
  plenty of toys.
  ● The kitten/cat will receive yearly veterinary examination to include any care needed to
  maintain the ongoing good health of this animal. The kitten/cat will not be denied
  veterinary care at any time.
  ● The kitten/cat will not be allowed outside except on a leash (under close supervision),
  or in a completely enclosed run. The kitten/cat will not be caged unless medically
  necessary, or kept in an unsuitable room, basement or garage.
  ● The kitten/cat will not be declawed.
  ● The Buyer will not, under any circumstances, give, sell, or lease the kitten/cat to any
  animal shelter, research facility, laboratory, pet store, cattery or other commercial or
  noncommercial enterprise. In the event that the Buyer can no longer keep the kitten/cat,
  the Breeder will be contacted immediately as a first option to assist.
  ●If this kitten/cat is found to be neglected or mistreated, the Buyer will surrender said
  kitten/cat to the Breeder.
  ●If the kitten/cat is declawed by any person the Buyer will surrender the said kitten/cat
  immediately to the breeder and pay the Breeder a penalty of $5000
  
  
  
  HEALTH GUARANTEE
  ● Breeder guarantees the kitten/cat to be healthy at the time of sale (to the best of our knowledge), FeLV/FIV-negative, and free from any life threatening illnesses, infections, internal and external parasites, ear mites, fleas and ringworm. This guarantee is valid for 14 days from the date of purchase. During this period of time, the kitten/cat should not be exposed to any sick or unvaccinated animals (doing so will void this health guarantee).
• Breeder recommends the Buyer to take the kitten/cat to their own veterinarian (at Buyer’s expense) within the first 72 hours for their own satisfaction and protection. If the vet feels that the animal is ill and that the illness was present prior to sale, the Breeder should be contacted at once, before any major treatment is begun (except in an emergency situation). If the kitten/cat should die from a problem present prior to sale, the Breeder will replace the animal with one of an equal quality as soon as a kitten is available. The total liability of the Breeder shall in no case exceed the purchase price listed on the first page of this contract.
  Breeder guarantees that kitten/cat is free from HCM, MPS and PKD for one year from purchase date.
  ● Health guarantee will not be honored if ownership changes.
  
  
  SIGNATURES
  The Buyer’s signature indicates that the Buyer has reviewed and discussed this contract with the Breeder prior to taking said kitten/cat, and is in a full agreement and approval of the above terms and conditions.
